Recently, a horrific road accident took place on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway in Palghar district of Maharashtra. It is being told that an Eicher truck carrying wedding guests collided with a container, killing 12 people and seriously injuring more than 25. After this accident, an atmosphere of panic has spread in the Ass Pass area. The happiness of the wedding turned into sorrow.
The police was informed about the accident. The police have started investigating the cause of the accident. According to reports, this accident took place near Dhaniwadi village in Palghar district.
It is being told that around 100 people were travelling in an Eicher truck to attend a wedding ceremony, when the truck collided with a container on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway. The impact was so strong and terrifying that the truck lost control and overturned on the road. Chaos ensued after the accident.

Many people were trapped under and inside the vehicle. Residents from nearby villages rushed to the scene and began rescuing them. Locals then informed the police and ambulance, after which administrative teams arrived and rescued the injured and took them to the hospital.
All the injured have been admitted to the Kasa Sub-District Hospital. It is reported that some are in very serious condition and may be referred to other hospitals for better treatment.
An investigation revealed that the truck was carrying more people than its capacity. Police are also trying to determine whether the accident was caused by speeding, driver negligence, or some other technical reason. The bodies of those killed in the accident have been sent for postmortem.
