Recently, news of the murder of Punjabi singer Inder Kaur surfaced. The police will hold a press conference today regarding this case. DCP Jaskiranjit Singh Teja will provide details of the entire conspiracy behind the murder at the police lines at 3:30 pm.
The police will also reveal the role of the accused arrested in the murder. Inder Kaur’s body has been kept in the mortuary of Samrala Civil Hospital. A postmortem has not yet been conducted.
Yashinder Kaur aka Inder Kaur met Sukhwinder Singh aka Sukhi Brar, a resident of Moga, on Instagram. It started with chatting and turned into friendship. After a few days of friendship, the relationship turned into love.
Both of them promised to marry each other. They had been together for six years. Whenever Sukhi came to Punjab from Canada, he would visit Inder Kaur.

On January 11th, Sukh went to Singer Inder Kaur’s house to celebrate her birthday and while leaving, said that they would get married in March.
Inder was dreaming of marriage in March, but he did not come to get married. Sukhi said that he would stay for a few days and then get married.
Everything was going well between the two, but Sukhi hid a truth from Inder Kaur that he was unmarried. Inder’s family stated that this lie led to Inder Kaur’s murder. Sukhi had been asking Inder to marry her, but he was already married.
When Inder Kaur pressured Sukhi to marry her, Sukhi Brar, along with his father and other associates, hatched a plan and murdered Inder Kaur. After the murder, Sukhi Brar fled to Canada via Nepal.

Inder Kaur’s brother, Jotinder Singh, stated that his sister had gone grocery shopping. While returning home, Sukhi and her friend met Inder. Sukhi told Inder that he was going to Canada and asked him to leave.
When Inder Kaur refused to let Sukhi go, he forcibly took her with him. Jotinder said that the arrested accused told the police that Sukhi got into Inder’s car and the two taxis started following them. From Jamalpur, they left towards Chandigarh Road.
Jyotinder Singh said that when the car was pulled out of the canal, the police found a bullet shell inside the car and blood on the car seat. This clearly shows that his sister was murdered by gunshot.
