Recently, the police administration in Gurdaspur district arrested six dangerous and vicious criminals planning a robbery along with weapons. Illegal pistols, live cartridges and many other dangerous sharp weapons were found with the arrested accused. They have a very bad criminal record and several serious cases are already registered against them.
Police investigation revealed that all the accused had recently come out on bail in serious cases like robbery, Arms Act and Excise Act. Even after coming out of jail, they did not give up the path of crime and were once again planning a major robbery. But the police foiled their plan before it could succeed and arrested them all.

SSP Gurdaspur Aditya informed that the police control room was given a secret information that some suspicious youths are sitting with weapons in a luxury car near the cremation ground of village Konta. All of them are preparing to carry out a major incident in the area. Taking the information seriously, the police of Dina Nagar police station took immediate action without wasting any time and conducted a joint raid at the said place. The police immediately surrounded the place from all sides and arrested 6 accused from there.
The police informed that an illegal .30 bore pistol, magazine, 4 live cartridges, 1 baseball bat, 1 kirpan and 1 sickle were found from their car.
