Shocking news has recently emerged from Uttar Pradesh, in which a newlywed bride in the Bhogaon police station area of Mainpuri district eloped with her lover just 18 days after their wedding.
The victim’s husband has alleged that his wife ran away from his home with gold and silver jewellery worth lakhs of rupees. Frustrated by the lack of action in the matter, he went to the Superintendent of Police’s office and filed a complaint, demanding an investigation and registration of a case.
The victim’s husband has been identified as Jatinder Kumar, son of Asharam, a resident of Kulipur village in the Bhogaon police station area. In his application to the Superintendent of Police, Jatinder Kumar stated that he married Achala, a resident of Kunwarpur Lodhpur in the Chhibramau police station area of Kannauj district, on April 21, 2026.

Jatinder Kumar alleges that Achala had a love affair with a young man named Arun Kumar from her village before marriage, and they used to talk on the phone. The husband stated that his wife left with Arun Kumar on the night of May 8th and 9th, taking gold and silver jewellery from the house with her. The husband stated that some of his sister Ruby’s jewellery is also missing.
Jatinder Kumar alleges that Arun Kumar works in a private job in Noida and has hidden his wife there in an unknown location. Arun’s brother and family are assisting him in this matter.
