Sensational and shocking news has recently emerged from Tarn Taran district. A farmer leader was shot and killed around 11 a.m. Sunday morning. The incident occurred in Gandiwind Dhattal village. Two unknown youths arrived outside the farmer leader’s home and called him out on some pretext. As soon as the farmer leader emerged, the attackers opened fire on him with a pistol.
The deceased farmer leader has been identified as Atma Singh, son of Mahendra Singh. The bullets fired by the attackers struck several parts of the farmer leader’s body, resulting in his immediate death. The attackers fled the scene after committing the crime. Police are investigating and trying to determine who the attackers were and what their motive was.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the police team from Chohla Sahib police station immediately swung into action, arriving at the scene and taking the body into custody. Police teams have cordoned off the surrounding area. Police are searching for the accused and conducting raids. A police forensic team is collecting evidence from the scene, and local residents are also being questioned. Superintendent of Police (SP) Riputpan stated that no threat, ransom, or gangster angle has emerged in this case at this time.

The motive behind the murder is not yet known, but the police are taking the investigation very seriously. Police suspect that this case may be the result of an old rivalry or personal dispute.
