Recently, shocking news has come from Mohali, in which an 11-year-old girl died under suspicious circumstances. It is being told that the body of the girl was found hanging from the grill in the back verandah of a doctor’s house in the Enclave area.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation. The girl used to work in the same house. The body of the 11-year-old girl was in such a bad condition that ants had even eaten her face. The deceased 11-year-old girl has been identified as Sonika. Sonika was a resident of Gudni village in Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh. Sonika’s family currently lives in Chandigarh.
Sonika’s mother said that Sonika had called her a few days ago and told her that she no longer wanted to work there. She said a young man was harassing her. Sonika had not come home for the last 15 days. The mother suspects murder.

The mother said, “The young man used to visit the doctor’s house. She said that the doctor’s family paid her daughter 5,000 rupees every month and they did not hire her there for work. The doctor hired her because he was depressed and he said that if Sonika stayed with him, she would feel happy and her depression would go away.”
The police are conducting their investigation to find out the reason behind Sonika’s death.
