In Mansa, An Elderly Woman who had Gone to Guru’s House to Pay Obeisance was Murdered, Dead Body Found in a Box in the House

Recently, a shocking news has come to light. A missing 90-year-old woman has been brutally murdered in Jorkian village of Mansa district. After the murder, the body was locked in a box. The police had been searching for the missing elderly woman for the last 4 days but could not find any trace of her. The police believe that this murder is a case of robbery.

The deceased missing elderly woman has been identified as Sukhdev Kaur, wife of Bhajan Singh, a resident of Jorkian. The family says that Sukhdev Kaur had gone from her home in the morning to pay obeisance at Gurudwara Sahib Jorkian but did not return. After this, the family and villagers searched for her a lot.

The family saw a camera installed in the nearby area showing an elderly woman returning home from a nearby road, but she never arrived. Based on this, police searched several suspicious homes along the route. During this search, police found Sukhdev Kaur’s body in a box. The body had decomposed and deteriorated after being kept in the box for so many days.

Police believe the murder was a robbery. The family stated that Sukhdev Kaur was wearing precious gold jewelry in her ears and hands when she left the house, but these were missing when her body was found.

The police have begun their investigation. They say the motive behind this murder and the perpetrators will be identified soon.
