The news of firing is increasing day by day and there is an atmosphere of fear in everyone. Recently, two masked miscreants on a bike opened fire at Prem Dhaba near Lalheri Chowk on GT Road in Khanna, Ludhiana.
It is being told that this incident happened at 6:30 in the morning. The attackers came on a bike and fired four to five bullets at the closed shutter of the Dhaba and fled.
At the time of firing, about eight people were present nearby. Ashok Kumar, who repairs scooters near the Dhaba, said that when he went to his shop in the morning, he heard the sound of gunfire. He saw two youths coming on a bike and firing towards the Dhaba. After firing, the attackers fled towards Lalheri Road.

The motive behind the incident is being reported as extortion. It is being reported that a week ago, “the owner of Prem Dhaba received a call in which the caller identified himself as Shaganpreet Singh. He demanded a ransom of 50 lakh rupees and threatened dire consequences if the money was not paid.”
Therefore, there is suspicion that the firing was done to intimidate. Shaganpreet Singh is the former manager of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala and is currently living in Australia. He is the one who is demanding ransom from him. A few days ago, he also had his gang fire at a commission agent’s shop in Payal Grain Market.
Upon receiving information about the shooting, police arrived at the scene and began an investigation. Nearby CCTV footage is being examined to identify the accused.
