A Young Man Committed Suicide in Amritsar After being Harassed by a Commission Agent

Recently, news has emerged from Amritsar, in which a young man from Patalpuri village died under mysterious circumstances. Following this incident, an atmosphere of fear and mourning has prevailed in the entire area.

The deceased youth has been identified as Mintu, son of Lakhmir Singh, a resident of Patalpuri. The deceased youth has a wife and two children who are in deep shock. The family has termed the case a suicide and accused the commission agent of harassment.

It is being reported that Mintu was having a dispute with the commission agent over money transactions. The family has alleged that the commission agent was mentally harassing Mintu. The commission agent used to abuse Mintu over the phone and was also threatening him at home. This caused Mintu to be stressed and he took this extreme step.

The police was informed of the incident, after which the police reached there. Based on the statements of the family, a case has been registered against three people. The accused have been identified as Harbans Singh, son of Tara Singh, resident of village Nangal Padwan, Harbhant Singh, son of Harbans Singh and Amandeep Singh, son of Jaswant Singh.

A case has been registered against the three accused under Section 306 (abetment to suicide) of the Indian Penal Code and other relevant sections. Police stated that the case is being investigated from every angle. The roles and past records of the accused are also being examined.
