Recently, on May 15th, a road accident occurred near Chhat Light Chowk in Zirakpur, Mohali. A private bus traveling from Manali to Delhi collided with a truck and overturned. A young man was crushed under the bus, and more than 20 passengers were injured in the accident. Police have begun rescue operations.
There were 45 passengers on the bus at the time of the accident. The injured were taken to Derabassi Hospital. The seriously injured were referred to Sector 32 Hospital in Chandigarh. Chaos ensued after the accident. Locals helped the police rescue the passengers.

Police reported that the accident occurred when the bus traveling from Manali to Delhi reached Chhat Light Chowk in Zirakpur. At the same time, a truck traveling from Zirakpur to Patiala collided with the bus. The driver lost control, causing the bus to overturn. Many passengers were thrown from their seats and some were trapped inside. This happened so quickly that the passengers didn’t have a chance to understand or recover.
As soon as the police received information about the accident, they arrived at the scene and began rescuing people.
