A tragic incident has recently emerged from Moga, where a Punjab Police constable was killed in a road accident near Gehli Wala village in the Kot Isse Khan police station area of Moga. The deceased constable has been identified as Havildar Daljit Singh, 48 years old and posted at the Sadar police station in Moga.
The accident occurred when his Honda car collided with a roadside tree. It is reported that a minibus carrying pilgrims from a school was returning from a religious site. Daljit Singh and his car were heading towards Golu Wala village. The two vehicles collided near Gehli Wala village.

At the time of the accident, Daljit Singh’s car lost control while trying to avoid the collision and hit a roadside tree. Daljit Singh was seriously injured. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.
All the pilgrims aboard the minibus are safe. The police were informed of the incident. Assistant Station House Officer Nachattar Singh arrived at the scene with a police team upon receiving the information. The police have completed their investigation.
