Recently, a bomb threat was received at the Bathinda railway track and a college in Chandigarh. The threat was given via email. Following the threat, security has been increased at the Bathinda railway station and a large police force has been deployed.
Following the threat, a large number of police teams are conducting a search operation at the station. Police teams are frisking passengers and checking their luggage. The police have also deployed a dog squad at the station.
Before the bomb threat was received at the Bathinda railway station, threats were received at the Bathinda post office and the DC office of Sri Muktsar Sahib. Currently, the police team is investigating and trying to identify and trace the person who sent the email.

The police have appealed to the passengers to immediately report any suspicious thing or person. Apart from Bathinda railway station, Dr. Ambedkar College in Sector-42, Chandigarh has also received a bomb threat. The threat was conveyed to the control room through a message, after which the police was immediately alerted.
As soon as the police received information about the threat, the police deployed the intelligence agency, dog squad and bomb disposal team on the spot. And for security reasons, the college complex was evacuated and a search operation was started.
