In Ropar, a Young Man Publicly Shot his Brother’s Murderer

Recently, news emerged from Nurpur Bedi, Ropar, where a young man was shot and killed late last night. Shortly after the incident, a video went viral on social media. In the video, Harjot Singh Sidhu, a resident of Shahpur, claimed responsibility for the murder. The killer was identified as Haram Singh, a resident of Shahpur Bela.

In the viral video, Harjot Singh claimed that Haram Singh had murdered his brother, Sukhwinder Singh, on May 13, 2019. He then spent four years in jail and was released on bail. After his release, Haram Singh repeatedly threatened Harjot.

Harjot told in the video that Haram Singh’s pride had increased and he used to pressure her to withdraw the case by pointing a pistol at her in front of the children.

On the night of the incident, Haram Singh met her in Ruppur Bedi with 3-4 friends and started provoking and threatening her again. Harjot Singh told in the video that he took this step in self-defense because he was fed up with slavery and fear and whatever he did, he did it after careful consideration.

After the incident, a police team reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
