Gunfire in Jandiala Guru: Father-Son Duo Attacked Over Money Dispute

Shocking news has recently emerged in which a father and son were shot dead in Amritsar after entering their home to demand 21,000 rupees for a langar. The attackers had come to collect the money, which led to a heated argument between the two parties. The attackers then began forcibly taking items from the home. When they tried to stop them, one of the attackers opened fire.

Following this incident, an atmosphere of fear has gripped the nearby home and area. Upon receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the scene and recorded the statements of the injured father and son. Police say that a search is underway for the accused and they will be arrested soon.

Balwinder Singh and his son Gurpreet Singh, residents of Bariyawal Road in Jandiala Guru, Amritsar, were having a dispute with the grocery store owner over money transactions. The father-son duo had a dispute with the grocery store owner over a payment of approximately 21,000 rupees.

When the father-son duo failed to pay the shopkeeper, the shopkeeper started seizing the goods. Balwinder Singh, who was injured in the incident, said that he had purchased langar items from a grocery store. He was promised payment by April 10. However, he failed to return the money on the due date. Then the shop owner came and started taking his bicycle and other belongings from their house. When the father and son protested, the shop owner opened fire.

Balwinder said that he was shot and his son was also shot. Both father and son received one bullet each. The shop owner fired four shots. Hearing the gunfire, people gathered nearby, and the attackers fled. After being shot, the father and son were admitted to the hospital. The father was shot in the leg and the son in the hand.
