Recently, 5-6 schools, including APG School in Jalandhar, received another bomb threat. This threat was sent via email. After receiving the threat, the respective school managements informed the police.
The schools were evacuated as a precautionary measure. This threat occurred while Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was leading a ‘Shukrana Yatra’ in Jalandhar.
Furthermore, a scooter exploded near a BSF checkpoint in Jalandhar yesterday, putting the police on high alert.

Following the threat, the police reached the respective schools and launched a search operation. The school management dismissed the children and made arrangements to send them home. Furthermore, the parents were also informed.
ADCP Akriti Jain stated that 5-6 schools in the city have received similar threats. The police are investigating the case from every angle.
After the threats were received, chaos broke out inside the schools. Police, administrative officials, and security agencies immediately arrived and began searching the entire campus.
