Recently, a big news is coming out from West Bengal, in which Chandranath Rath, the personal assistant (PA) of BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari, has been shot dead. A person present at the time of the incident said that the attacker executed the victim in a professional manner and fled. Police have considered this incident a planned murder and are now investigating it.
An eyewitness said that this incident happened when Chandranath Rath’s car was moving ahead of their car. Then suddenly the car stopped in the middle. A man riding a bike came and fired a shot from a very close range on the left side of the car.
The eyewitness said it appeared the attacker had undergone thorough training. He attacked without hesitation and fled the scene immediately after the incident.

He further stated that he heard two gunshots. The incident occurred between 10:30 pm and 11 pm. The hospital was approximately 200 to 300 meters away. Locals immediately rushed the injured Chandranath Rath to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead. The driver was also injured.
Regarding this incident, Suvendu Adhikari said it was a fully planned murder. The attackers conducted reconnaissance for a few days before the incident and then attacked.
He said that senior state police officials have also considered it a planned crime in the initial investigation. The investigation is ongoing and the police have also recovered some important evidence from the spot. Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar also spoke to the family and inquired about the case from police officials. The police are searching for the accused with the help of nearby CCTV footage and other technical evidence.
