Recently, news of a tragic accident has come to light from Hoshiarpur in which an out-of-control truck crushed three people walking on the roadside near Adda Pul Pukhta on Miyani Road under Tanda constituency. 3 people were injured and 2 died in this accident, including a woman.
It is being reported that late in the evening, a speeding truck hit two people walking on the roadside on Tanda-Miyani Road. The accident was so severe and tragic that one person died on the spot and the other was seriously injured.

After the accident, the truck driver was trying to flee from there when some people chased the truck. The truck driver panicked and increased the speed of the truck, due to which a woman who was going to pay obeisance at the roadside Gurudwara Sahib was also crushed.
The deceased have been identified as Harbhajan Kaur (resident of Miani) and Ashwani Kumar. The injured man has been identified as a resident of Tanda area. The condition of the third man is said to be serious, who was referred to a hospital in Amritsar after first aid at Tanda Civil Hospital.

After the accident, the police was informed. With the help of the police, people caught the truck driver. The police have arrested the truck driver and strict legal action will be taken against him.
