Shocking news has recently emerged from Bathinda Central Jail, where three inmates attacked Jail Superintendent Dalveer Singh with sharp-edged weapons. His gunman, who came to rescue him, was also seriously injured in the attack. Police arrested them and remanded them to police custody for five days.
This incident occurred when Jail Superintendent Dalveer Singh was inside the jail. Suddenly, three inmates attacked him. These three inmates were armed with sharp and pointed objects.
Seeing the Jail Superintendent in danger, his gunman came to rescue him, but the inmates attacked him with sharp-edged weapons, leaving him seriously injured. Jail staff quickly intervened and subdued the attacking prisoners.

The injured gunman was taken to the hospital. Based on a complaint from the jail administration, the police have registered a case against the three attackers under several serious sections, including attempted murder and obstruction of government work.
The three accused were produced in a local court, where they were sent to police remand for five days. During the remand, the accused will be questioned about their motive behind the attack and how they brought sharp objects inside the jail.
