Recently, shocking news has come to light from Gurdaspur, in which on 13 May (Tuesday), a fight broke out between two brothers over land division in Nainekot village of Gurdaspur. In the fight, the brother shot and killed his brother-in-law and sister-in-law.
It is being told that there was a dispute between three brothers of Nainekot village, Ajaib Singh, Amarjeet Singh and Tarsem Singh, sons of Bhajan Singh, over 9 acres of land in the village. Ajaib Singh was taking a walk as usual when his brother Amarjeet Singh shot him. Just after this, Amarjeet Singh went to Ajaib Singh’s house and shot and killed his wife Kamal Kaur.

After murdering his brother and sister-in-law, Amarjeet Singh went to Kahnuwan police station and surrendered before the police.
Police said that Amarjeet has been arrested and the bodies of both victims have been sent for postmortem examination. Speaking on the matter, police said the accused committed the murders due to a land dispute.
