Recently, news of a fight between students and a security guard at Guru Nanak Dev University in Amritsar has surfaced. A video of the incident is going viral on social media. In the video, some boys are seen pushing a security guard. After the video went viral, the university administration has launched an investigation into the matter.
The duty officer stated that on May 7th, a university security guard asked some students to show their ID cards, which is when the fight began. The duty officer stated that the students became angry upon being asked for their ID cards and began attacking the security guard.

It is being reported that during the argument, a security guard slapped a student, which escalated into a physical altercation between the two parties.
