Indiscriminate Firing on Youth in Punjab; The Area Shook with the Echo of Bullets

Every day, some incident of firing occurs in Punjab. Recently, news of firing has come to light from Gurdaspur, in which two youths were shot dead in public in a village due to a minor fight between children.

In this firing, one youth was hit by three bullets, while the other was shot in the leg. Both the injured have been admitted to the civil hospital in serious condition. The injured have been identified as Sukhdev Singh, son of Tarsem Singh, village Devidas Ghora (Kadian constituency, Dhariwal police station), and Stephen.

It is being reported that after a fight between the children, a quarrel broke out between the two parties, which was resolved by the family through a meeting. The other party called unknown people from outside.

Some unknown people were called from outside and attacked them. The attackers opened fire, hitting Sukhdev Singh twice in the back and once near the chest, while Stephen was shot in the leg. The police were then informed of the incident.

Doctors stated that the injured are undergoing treatment. His condition is serious. The police have arrested the accused and filed a case against them.
