Gangster Sukha Kahlwan’s Right Hand Gopi Shot Dead in Car

Recently, on Friday morning, unknown assailants shot and killed a young man sitting in a car near Avon Palace on GT Road in the Dhilwan area of ​​Kapurthala. The incident has created an atmosphere of fear in the entire area.

The deceased has been identified as Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi, son of Jasbir Singh, a resident of Jairampur, Subhanpur police station. Gopi was the right-hand man of gangster Sukha Kahlwan and the last witness in the Kahlwan murder case. All previous witnesses had recanted, but he was undeterred.

It is being reported that Gopi was sitting in the driver’s seat when the attackers fired through the front window. The bullet hit him directly, killing him on the spot.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the Dhilwan police arrived at the scene. The police deposited the body in the mortuary of the Kapurthala Civil Hospital around 3:45 am on Friday morning.

The police have registered a case against the attackers and are examining nearby CCTV cameras to identify them.
