Recently, Patiala police has achieved a major success. News is coming out that Patiala police has exposed a big terrorist module. Police conducted an operation on 28 April, in which 4 suspects have been arrested.
Police said that the arrested accused were in contact with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. They were conspiring to carry out terrorist activities in Punjab. A large quantity of arms, ammunition, a bomb, two pistols and IED making material have been recovered from the accused.
Of the 4 accused arrested by the police, 2 are from Tarn Taran and 2 are from Mansa district. Investigation has revealed that the mastermind of this module is Pradeep Singh Khalsa, who was in contact with handlers sitting abroad. The accused also detonated a bomb on a railway track on April 27th, damaging the track.

The police have filed a case against the accused under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and other serious sections. The police stated that this action averted a major terrorist incident in Punjab. The police are conducting further investigation.
