Police Arrested 10 People in Firozpur, More Than 3.7 Kg of Heroin and Weapons Seized!

Under the Punjab government’s anti-drug campaign, the police are achieving success every day. Recently, the Ferozepur police achieved a major breakthrough in a drug case.

Ferozepur SSP Bhupinder Singh Sidhu stated in a press conference that significant recoveries have been made in various cases. Bhupinder Singh Sidhu stated that in the first case, police from the Zira and Makhu police stations arrested two youths and recovered 3 kg 633 grams of heroin, two motorcycles, and a phone.

In the second case, SSP Ferozepur Bhupinder Singh Sidhu stated that two youths were arrested and two 30-bore pistols with magazines, one 32-bore pistol with magazines, 100 grams of heroin, and a Scorpio car.

Before arresting the accused, Manpreet Singh alias Manu, police were looking for him in several cases, and his links to Pakistani smuggler Ali Dogra have also come to light.

SSP Bhupinder Singh stated that in the third case, the Zira City police arrested an accused, from whom a country-made pistol, a magazine, and a live cartridge were recovered. The accused is currently being interrogated.

In the fourth case, the Ferozepur Sadar police arrested three youths, from whom a 30-bore pistol, a magazine, and two live cartridges were recovered. The accused had opened fire at a house, injuring a girl.

In the 5th case, City Firozpur Police Station has seized a large number of e-cigarettes, these cigarettes are banned.
