Amritsar Shopkeeper shot dead while walking his dog—old rivalry turns deadly!

Recently, news of a murder has emerged from Amritsar. A man named Narayan Das was killed in a late-night shooting in the Navan Kot area.

It is being reported that Narayan Das, as usual, closed his shop and left the house at around 1:15 a.m. to take his dog for a walk. Shortly after leaving the house, he called his wife and told her that he had been shot.

Narayan Das’s wife said that when she arrived with her son, Narayan Das was lying on the road, covered in blood. The family stated that he had no conflict with anyone and was a lone earner. The family has been devastated by grief. The family has demanded strict action against the culprits from the police.

The deceased’s nephew, Rahul Sachdeva, also stated that Narayan Das used to walk his dog daily and had no major conflicts with anyone.

ADCP Vishaljit Singh stated that the police have begun their investigation and have found that Narayan Das had a long-standing feud with his neighbors. When the neighbors arrived at Narayan Das’s shop, an altercation broke out between the two, after which the neighbor fired a shot from his licensed 12-bore gun. Narayan Das was shot in the leg and died from excessive bleeding.

The police have registered a case and arrested one of the accused. The weapon used in the incident has also been recovered from the accused. The police are conducting further investigation.
