A tragic accident occurred on Baisakhi. This incident took place at Gurdwara Singh Sabha Kartar Nagar, behind Atam Nagar Chowki in Dugri, Ludhiana. A man named Maninder Singh Mindu fell down while performing Nishan Sahib Seva, due to which he died on the spot. Maninder Singh was about 40 years old. Police reached there as soon as they got the information. Police made a settlement with the family members.
SHO Jaswinder Singh of Model Town police station, giving information about this case, said that this accident took place at about 9:30 in the morning. Maninder Singh had been performing Nishan Sahib Seva at Gurdwara Singh Sabha in Kartar Nagar for the last 8 years. Similarly, this year, he was performing this service in the morning when he suddenly fell down and died.
SHO Jaswinder Singh said that the police are currently investigating. The family has reached an agreement with the management committee; if any further complaints are received, they will take action.
