Student Commits Suicide After Failing in Moga, had Just Completed Diploma

Recently, shocking news has come to light from Moga, in which a 20-year-old girl in Khosa Randhir village of Kot Isse Khan police station area committed suicide due to mental stress. The news of the girl’s suicide was given to the police. The police reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem.

The girl who committed suicide was identified as Simarjeet Kaur, daughter of Jagtar Singh. Simarjeet was 20 years old and was pursuing a diploma in Ludhiana.

The family told that her exam results had recently come, in which she had failed in 1-2 subjects, after which she was under mental stress. That’s why she was looking stressed for a few days.

At the time of the incident, Simarjeet’s parents and other family members were out of the house for work. Simarjeet took the opportunity to be alone at home and hanged herself with her dupatta from the hook of the fan.

When the family returned home in the evening, they found Simarjeet hanging from the noose. The family informed the police. The police started action based on the family’s statement. The police sent the body to Civil Hospital Moga for postmortem.
