Mother Climbs Mobile Tower After Framing Son in False Case by Police in Mansa

A shocking incident has recently come to light from Mansa, sparking controversy after a drug trafficking case was filed against a youth in Sardulgarh town.

It is being reported that residents of Ward No. 6 protested outside the police station, accusing the police of filing a false case. Meanwhile, the boy’s mother climbed a mobile tower to demand the case against her son be dropped, sparking an uproar in the area.

Police filed a case against a youth named Gurpiyar Singh for the recovery of 30 bullets. Locals allege that the police picked up the boy from his home in the morning, promising to release him by evening, but later filed a false case against him.

The boy’s mother stated that the police had previously filed false cases against her son and were now attempting to frame him again.

The ward councilor also wrote to the police stating that the boy was no longer involved in any drug-related activities, but he was still being harassed.

The commotion was quelled by late night on the DSP’s assurance. The DSP promised to investigate the matter. The in-charge stated that Gurpiyar Singh already has 10 to 12 cases registered against him, including drug trafficking and theft, and that the family’s allegations were baseless.
