Bike-borne assailants opened fire outside a house in Pachranga village, located on the Jalandhar-Pathankot National Highway, and fled the scene after seeing the situation. The entire firing incident was recorded on CCTV. It is being reported that around 3:30 a.m. on April 23rd, two men wearing helmets arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire outside the home of a man named Madan Lal.
Hearing the gunfire, one person came out of the house, but the attackers continued firing without fear and fled the scene.
The shooting incident is linked to a personal dispute, with the possibility of a girl being involved. Police have been informed of the shooting. They are investigating the matter from all angles. Police have also recovered bullet shells from the scene.
