Deadly Collision in Ludhiana: Two Tankers Crash, Driver Killed

Recently, news of a horrific accident has come to light in Ludhiana. It is being reported that a milk tanker driver died in a road accident in Sarih village near Dehlon in Ludhiana. This accident occurred when the driver of an unknown tanker negligently applied the brakes of the tanker ahead of him, due to which the tanker following him collided with it. The police have registered a case against the unknown driver and have started an investigation.

Parminder Singh, a resident of Jhanjori, Kharar, Mohali, told the police that his driver Vipan Kumar was returning to Sangrur in a Tata tanker after unloading milk from Hoshiarpur. Parminder Singh was following the tanker in his car. As he approached Sarih village, an unknown tanker driver applied the brakes at high speed in front of his tanker. The sudden braking caused Vipin Kumar to lose control of his tanker and collide with the tanker in front.

Following the accident, the unknown tanker driver abandoned his vehicle and fled the scene. The injured tanker driver, Vipin Kumar, was taken to Ludhiana Civil Hospital. He died during treatment at the hospital. Police have registered a case and launched a search for the unknown tanker driver.

Police stated that a case has been registered based on the complainant’s statement. Nearby people and CCTV footage are being investigated to identify the absconding driver. He will be arrested soon.
