Congress Sarpanch’s House Bombed in Amritsar for ₹50 Lakh Ransom Demand

Recently, shocking news has come to light from Amritsar, in which the house of Sarpanch and Congress leader Nishan Singh in Sudhar village was attacked with something like a bomb on Saturday night. This attack was carried out at around 11 pm. The sound of the explosion was so loud that it shook the entire area.

Victim Sarpanch Nishan Singh told that on the afternoon of 9th April, he received a threatening call from a foreign number. The caller identified himself as gangster Jeevan Fauji and demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh from the Sarpanch. The gangster had warned that if the money is not given, the punishment will not be good. A few hours after the threat, something resembling a bomb was thrown into his home at night, causing a powerful explosion.

All family members were inside the house at the time of the attack, and no one was harmed. Following the attack, gangster Jeevan Fauji called the Sarpanch again.

On the call, the gangster stated that he needed the money within two days. He threatened in a very menacing tone, “If you don’t get the money, consider death stalking you. Give the money, or you’ll be sure to die.”

The police were informed of the incident. The police arrived at the Sarpanch’s home and began an investigation. Police are examining CCTV footage from nearby homes. They have assured the family that the culprits will be arrested soon.
