Recently, a tragic news has come to light in which a woman from Ghaniwala village of Faridkot district was brutally murdered in Manila, the capital of Philippines. It is being reported that she was going to collect money for her business when unknown assailants opened fire on her. After this incident, a wave of grief spread in Ghaniwala village.
The deceased woman was identified as Sukhveer Kaur Brar, a resident of Ghaniwala village. Sukhveer Kaur had been living in Manila with her husband Iqbal Singh Brar for many years. The couple ran a finance business in Manila. On Sunday, when Sukhveer Kaur was going to the market to collect money for her regular finance business, she was attacked by unknown assailants.

It is being reported that the attackers suddenly opened fire on Sukhveer Kaur, killing her on the spot. The attackers fled the scene after administering the death penalty.
The police were informed of the incident. The police are investigating the matter. The attackers have not been apprehended yet. At the time of the incident, Sukhveer Kaur’s husband, Iqbal Singh Brar, was in his village, Ghaniawala.
In Iqbal Singh Brar’s absence, his wife, Sukhveer Kaur, was handling all the business and collections in Manila. As soon as he received the news of his wife’s death, he left for Manila. The news of Sukhveer Kaur’s death left the family and villagers in shock.
