Shocking news has recently emerged from Phagwara. In Guru Arjan Pura Nagar (Daddal Mohalla), a young man jumped from the third floor of his house after seeing police approaching him in the street.
The young man was seriously injured and was immediately taken to the hospital, where he died during treatment. The deceased youth has been identified as Sharanjit Singh alias Sunny. Police have sent his body to the Civil Hospital for a post-mortem.
Balveer Kaur, mother of the deceased Sharanjit Singh alias Sunny, expressed grief and said that her son had fallen into bad company. Sharanjit would always ask for money for drugs in the evenings and harass the family.

Frustrated by his daily behavior, the family called the police control room for help. When they saw a police team approaching the street, Sharanjit jumped from the third floor.
Due to his jumping, Sharanjit’s head hit the ground, leaving him seriously injured. Sharanjit was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors referred him to a hospital due to his serious condition, where he died.

Sharanjit’s uncle, Nirmal Singh, stated that he was addicted to drugs and harassed them by demanding money daily. Frustrated by this, his sister-in-law, Balveer Kaur, informed the police. Sunny was standing on the roof when the police arrived in the area. Seeing the police coming down the street, he became frightened and jumped off the roof.
