Recently, shocking news has come to light from Ludhiana, in which two unknown youths set fire to a Hyundai Creta car parked outside a house near Sangam Palace in Surjit Enclave on Saturday night. This incident created an atmosphere of panic in the entire area. The entire incident was captured on CCTV camera. Information about the incident was given to the police, and the police is now investigating based on the CCTV footage.
It is being reported that the incident occurred around 3:49 am. CCTV footage shows two youths riding an Activa coming into the street, one of them getting down from the scooter, sprinkling some flammable substance on the car and setting it on fire. The fire in the car became so intense that it was reduced to ashes. Both the youths fled from the spot after setting the car on fire.
Hosiery businessman Sarthak Malhotra told that the family was sleeping at the time when this incident happened. But suddenly a loud explosion was heard from outside and the entire family came out and saw that their Creta car was burning badly.
As soon as the family saw the car on fire, they ran and tried to extinguish the fire with buckets of water and after a lot of effort the fire was brought under control. If the fire had not been extinguished, a major accident could have occurred and the fire could have spread inside the house.

Sarthak Malhotra told that 6 months ago also an attempt was made to tamper with his car or carry out a similar incident. After the car caught fire, an atmosphere of fear has prevailed in the businessman’s family.
The police were informed of the incident and Sarthak Malhotra has filed a complaint. The police are checking CCTV footage of the entire area so that by looking at the number of his Activa and his face, he can be identified and arrested soon.
