Recently, a tragic incident has come to light from Mansa, in which two 16-year-old and 15-year-old boys died due to drowning while bathing in a canal in Bhikhi town during the summer season. The bodies of the deceased children have been kept in the Civil Hospital of Mansa. Both the deceased boys were the only sons of their parents.
Bhinder Singh, the uncle of the deceased child, said that both the children were studying in the 10th class in a private school. He further told that at 10 o’clock in the night, Gurinder and his friend had gone to take bath in the canal, where both of them died due to drowning in the canal.
Doctors at the Civil Hospital informed that 16-year-old Gurvinder Singh of Dhapai village and 15-year-old Sukhpreet Singh of Bhikhi village died after drowning in a canal. The bodies of both children have been kept in the hospital morgue.
