The family of Warehouse Corporation District Manager Gagandeep Singh Randhawa is ready for postmortem. After postmortem, Gagandeep’s last rites will be performed today on 24th March. Earlier, Gagandeep’s family was adamant on the demand of CBI investigation and arrest of a minister Laaljeet Singh Bhullar. On 23 March, Aam Aadmi Party government’s former minister Laaljeet Singh Bhullar and his personal assistant were arrested.
On March 24, DM GaganDeep Singh’s family has agreed to perform his last rites. Former Aam Aadmi Party government minister Laaljeet Singh Bhullar was arrested late night from Mandi Gobindgarh and brought to Amritsar. Bhullar was produced in the court on 24 March. After the arrest of Laaljeet Singh Bhullar, the attitude of Gagandeep’s family has softened and they have agreed for the post-mortem.

Before the arrest of former Aam Aadmi Party government minister Laaljeet Bhullar, Gagandeep Singh’s family had also appealed in the High Court. Gagandeep’s mother filed a petition in the high court. The petition demanded that the postmortem of the dead body should be done outside Punjab. There should be an independent panel for postmortem and videography should be done. The petition will be heard tomorrow but before that today information about Gagandeep’s postmortem and last rites is being received.
Former minister of Aam Aadmi Party government, Laaljeet Bhullar, before being arrested, gave his clarification by posting on Facebook, in which he accepted his surrender and wrote, “Believing in truth and justice, I am surrendering myself in Mandi Gobindgarh.”
