Mohali Under Fire: Gangsters Open Indiscriminate Fire at Property Dealer’s House!

Recently, some unidentified assailants opened indiscriminate fire at the house of a property dealer in Hoshiyarpur village of New Chandigarh late at night. According to reports, the attackers arrived on a motorcycle and, after firing, took advantage of the darkness to escape.

Following this incident, an atmosphere of fear has prevailed in the entire village and the surrounding area. Upon receiving information, senior police officers reached the spot with their force, forensic teams, and CIA personnel.

Investigation revealed that a few days ago, the victim property dealer had received a threatening call from a gangster from a foreign number. The gangster had demanded a ransom of crores of rupees in the call. The dealer suspects the shooting was aimed at luring him into not paying ransom or informing the police.

Following the shooting, police are now investigating the location and voice sample of the international call to track down the perpetrator. CIA and forensic teams are investigating and collecting necessary evidence from the scene.

During the investigation, police recovered approximately six empty .32 bore shells from the scene. Police are examining CCTV footage from the village’s entry gate and surrounding areas to determine the attackers’ route of entry.

In addition to these investigations, the police are also collecting data from mobile towers active at the time of the incident to identify suspicious mobile numbers. Mohali police say the accused will be arrested soon.
