Recently, news emerged from Mohali, where the blood-soaked body of a young man was found in his home. The boy had been living in a live-in relationship with a girl for a few years. The girl informed the police about the incident. Police arrived at the boy’s home, seized the body, and began an investigation.
The incident occurred around 4 p.m. on Tuesday. The deceased boy has been identified as Jaspreet, a 40-year-old man who lived with his girlfriend in Sunny Enclave, Sector 125.
The girlfriend told the police that she had gone to work and when she returned home in the evening, she found Jaspreet covered in blood. She then informed Jaspreet’s brother, Gurdeep Singh, about the incident.
Police investigation revealed that Jaspreet was an alcoholic. On February 5th, he suffered a serious forehead injury in a motorcycle accident in the Balongi area, after which he had to be treated at the PGI. Police say Jaspreet died due to excessive bleeding from an old wound. However, an investigation into how the injury occurred is still underway. No one else was at home at the time of the incident.

As soon as the police received information about the incident, a forensic team was called. A forensic team collected evidence from the scene. The body has been placed in the morgue at Kharar Civil Hospital. Police said the exact cause of death will be known only after the postmortem report is received.
