Recently, shocking news has emerged from Abohar, in which a stampede broke out in a government hospital due to the entry of ferocious monkeys into the hospital. Patients and their families were terrified by the monkeys. Doctors and other staff were forced to leave their chairs and rooms and run out due to the terror of the monkeys.
The monkeys attacked several patients and their relatives, injuring them. This incident occurred on April 22nd. The monkeys had been roaming the hospital building since morning. While roaming, the monkeys started jumping up and down the building. Sometimes they would climb the ticket window and sometimes they would enter the wards.
The monkeys created so much terror that they even entered the emergency ward and maternity ward. The monkeys tore and damaged the drip bottles and blood bottles given to the patients. Seeing the monkeys causing havoc, patients undergoing treatment in the ward ran out to save their lives. Some people were also injured.

Neelam Rani, a resident of Indira Nagar, had come to the hospital for treatment, and four other patients had come with their families. All were injured in the monkey attack.
Hospital staff immediately vaccinated the injured and discharged them after providing first aid. Due to the monkey’s ferocious behavior, no one was able to drive it away. Hospital staff informed the SMO and the Wildlife Conservation Department about the incident.
