A woman working as a saleswoman at a clothing showroom in New Chandigarh, Mohali, was attacked with a knife by her husband. It is being reported that she was stabbed six times on her back and waist, leaving her seriously injured.
CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, showing her husband stabbing her. After the attack, the husband fled. People who witnessed the incident reported that they tried to apprehend the accused, but he managed to escape.
According to reports, the husband and wife had been fighting for a long time, and the case was pending in court. This enmity led the husband to attack his wife.
The husband is identified as Priyanka, a resident of Khuda Lahora, and Heera Lal, a resident of Mansa Devi, Panchkula. They were married approximately 8 years ago. The two had been fighting since their marriage. The husband used to beat his wife.

The family reported that the husband was addicted to alcohol and other drugs. A year after their marriage, the couple had a son, who is now 7 years old and studying in 3rd grade.
