Recently, Congress Block President Parminder Tiwari from Machhiwara, Ludhiana, was murdered with a sharp-edged weapon. Upon receiving information about the incident, a team from the Kumkal police station arrived and began an investigation.
Police confirmed that the attackers were two unknown individuals. Punjab Congress President and Lok Sabha member from Ludhiana, Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, expressed his grief over the incident.
Congress Block President Parminder Tiwari was sitting on a chair in his quarters on the evening of March 29th when two miscreants came from behind and attacked him on the head with an axe. Parminder suffered serious head injuries and fell from the chair to the ground. The attackers abandoned their weapons and fled.

Parminder was taken to the Civil Hospital in Machhiwara, where he was subsequently referred. Parminder’s family took him to Fortis Hospital, where he died during treatment. The Kumkal police were informed of the incident. The police have launched an investigation.
