On April 3, two groups clashed late at night in New Shahd Babu Labh Singh, Jalandhar, over an old rivalry. One group then set off cameras installed outside the other group’s house and opened fire. No one was injured in the shooting and attack, but an atmosphere of fear has spread in the surrounding area.
Upon receiving information about the shooting, ADCP City 2 and the police from Basti Khel police station arrived at the scene. Police found five bullet shells. The women present there stated that a court is located in their home and they have no enmity with anyone.
The family went to sleep after dinner. At night, some young men living in the street came and entered their house and attacked them. After which, they came out of the house and broke the CCTV. After breaking the camera, they started firing. The family informed the police about the incident and the police reached there and are investigating.

ADCP Sit-2 Rakesh Kumar said that he had received information from the control room that a fight had broken out between two parties in New Shahd Babu Labh Singh and firing had also taken place after the fight. The police team reached there and found five bullet shells there. The police is investigating. Both the families are blaming each other. Police are investigating cameras installed in the street and questioning nearby bystanders. Police will find the accused and take appropriate action against them.
