Recently, Moga Police has busted a robbery gang. Moga Police has arrested four women of the robbery and fraud gang. Talking about this matter, City Police Station in-charge Varun Kumar said that the police received information on Wednesday night at around 11 o’clock, on which the police took immediate action and raided the Joginder Chowk area. During the raid, four women were arrested from near Moga Bus Stand.
All these women worked as a gang and used to commit crimes like robbery and fraud by misleading people. The four accused women have been identified as Praveen, Sonia, Soma and Praveen. They are residents of Ferozepur.
Investigation revealed that these accused women have previously committed many such crimes like robbery and fraud. And several cases are registered against them in different police stations. This women gang used to target common people, cheat them and as soon as they got a chance, they would flee after robbing them of money and gold jewellery.

Case number 78 has been registered against this women gang in Moga City Police Station under sections 304 and 111 of IPC and further legal action has been initiated. The accused are being interrogated. All four accused will be produced in the court and taken on remand.
