Lightning Tragedy: 16-Year-Old Boy Dies, 2 Injured in Sudden Strike!

Recently, lightning struck a boy in a village in Hoshiarpur’s Garhshankar. Some children were playing cricket in the Bakapur playground of Rasulpur village in Hoshiarpur’s Garhshankar. Suddenly the weather changed and lightning flashed in the sky and the clouds started thundering. Despite the bad weather, the children continued playing cricket. The children never thought that something like this would happen to them. While the children were playing, lightning suddenly struck them. Due to which a small boy died on the spot, while two children were injured.

The deceased boy has been identified as 16-year-old Tarandeep Singh, son of Onkar Singh, a resident of Rasulpur. The other two injured children have been identified as Anshpreet, son of Mukhtiar Chand, and Jassi Loi, son of Laxman Ram. Both injured children are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Nawanshahr. The body of the deceased Tarandeep Singh has been kept in the mortuary of Civil Hospital, Garhshankar. This sudden incident has shocked Tarandeep Singh’s parents and the villagers. No one understands what suddenly happened to the children.

News of deaths due to lightning strikes is rare in Punjab; such news is more commonly seen and heard in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. However, after this incident in Punjab, there is an atmosphere of fear among the people.
