Recently news has come to light in which a reporter associated with a Hindi newspaper was attacked in Phagwara. On 24 March late night, Amar Pasi, a reporter of a Hindi newspaper, was attacked with sharp-edged weapons in Mohalla Bhagatpura, in which Amar was seriously injured. He was immediately taken to the civil hospital, where doctors started his treatment and Amar’s condition is said to be serious.
According to the information received, in the evening, Amar Pasi had just left his house and was about to sit in his car, at the same time, 3 unknown men on an Activa scooter attacked reporter Amar from behind with weapons. The attackers attacked the reporter’s head, seriously injuring him.
When a supporter of Amar Pasi tried to defend him, the attackers threatened him with a revolver. The attackers attacked the reporter and fled.

According to reports, Amar Pasi had recently brokered a settlement in a family dispute. It is suspected that one party was unhappy with the settlement and was threatening Amar.
