Recently, news emerged from Barnala, where a young man, upset with his wife, committed suicide. Police have filed a case against three people in this matter. Based on the complainant’s statement and investigation, the case was filed by Karamjeet Kaur, wife of Ram Singh, a resident of Sandhu Kalan village.
The complaint names Karamjeet Kaur, Baljinder Singh, and his wife Manjeet Kaur, wife of Manpreet Singh (currently a resident of Nainwal). Police investigation revealed that the deceased, Manpreet Singh, alias Babbu, was married to Manjeet Kaur. The two had been having frequent fights since their marriage.

It is alleged that Manjeet Kaur frequently quarreled with Manpreet and threatened to take half of the property. Due to this tension, Manpreet Singh went to the farm and consumed something poisonous, killing himself. Police said they are taking the matter seriously and have filed a case against the accused. The investigation is ongoing, and further legal action will be taken based on the facts.
