Terror Module Planned Attack on Delhi Temples—Shabir Speaks!

Recently, Delhi Police interrogated Shabir Ahmed Lone, a terrorist of Pakistani terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), in which the terrorist made some shocking revelations. Before his arrest, Shabir had done recce of 3 big temples of Delhi and made videos and sent them to his Pakistani handler.

Police told that Shabir had done recce of some areas of Delhi’s Connaught Place and Paharganj, where there are crowded markets, and had made videos of these areas as well and sent them to his Pakistani handler. Shabir has been kept in police custody for 5 days. Police started questioning him on 31 March.

Shabir has confessed to forming a terrorist organization similar to ISI and Lashkar-e-Taiba (TRF) in Bangladesh. To establish this organization, he was going to start espionage and recruitment work in Delhi NCR.

Delhi Police said that Shabir was working on the orders of Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI to activate a new module of Lashkar-e-Taiba in India and recruit youth. Police arrested Shabir before he could succeed in his objective. Bangladeshi-Pakistani currency, a laptop, and some other items were recovered from Shabir.

According to sources, Shabir had entered India through the Nepal border. Shabir was running a recruitment network for Lashkar-e-Taiba in India from Bangladesh on the orders of Pakistani Lashkar-e-Taiba handlers, codenamed Abu Huzaifa, Sumam Babar, and Abdul Rahman. Shabir was also in contact with Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen commander Abu Talha and Asif Dar, a designated terrorist under the UAPA.
