Recently, a shocking incident has come to light in Mohali, in which the bride kept waiting for the wedding procession but the groom did not come, after which a case was registered against the groom.
A yoga teacher from Mohali told the police that she is a resident of Hoshiarpur and works as an online yoga teacher. But currently lives in Mohali. The yoga teacher met the accused Nishan Singh for the first time on 6 September 2025.
Even after the marriage was fixed in Zirakpur, Mohali, the groom did not arrive with the wedding procession. The Yoga teacher waited for him but he did not come, after which the bride, who is a Yoga teacher, filed a complaint with the police.

The Yoga teacher told that she met Nishan Singh while booking a cab online. Nishan Singh introduced himself as an Army Captain and they became friends. After becoming friends, the two had physical relations many times. Nishan Singh used to come to Zirakpur to meet the Yoga teacher. They both also went to Shimla and finally the matter reached marriage.
The marriage of both was fixed on 25 March. All preparations for the wedding were complete at the yoga teacher’s home, but the accused did not arrive with the wedding procession on the scheduled date and switched off his phone. The yoga teacher subsequently filed a complaint at the Zirakpur police station.
