Missing in Dubai! Mother appeals to the government to find her son

Recently a news has come to light in which Sukhjinder Singh, Sarpanch of a village in Barnala told that amidst the war between Iran and Israel, Virbal who is currently in trouble. He was working as a construction worker in Dubai, who belongs to a poor family. He has been away from his family for 45 days.

Virbal Singh whose age is 40 years and his father’s name is Late Bhora Singh. Virbal had gone to Dubai a year ago in search of work in building construction. He has not been in contact with his family for the last 45 days, due to which his mother Nasib Kaur said while crying that her son Virbal had gone to Dubai to work as a mason. After going there, he used to contact his family but he has not made any contact for the last 45 days.

Seeing the conflict going on between Iran and Israel, Virbal’s mother has appealed to the Punjab Government, Central Government, NRIs and social activists to help in bringing her son trapped in Dubai back to Punjab. Amidst all this, his daughter-in-law, upset with the situation, left the house with her 11-year-old daughter.

Regarding this matter, the village sarpanch Sukhjinder Singh said that Virbal is currently stuck in Dubai due to the ongoing war between Iran and Israel. Virbal, who comes from a poor background, had gone there only to earn a living as a construction labourer. And now he has not been in contact with his family for the last 45 days.

A formal letter has also been given to the Central and Punjab Governments through the Deputy Commissioner of Barnala. The Sarpanch has sought help from NRIs and various social service organisations in finding Virbal.
