Recently, a high speed car met with an accident late night in Pritam Nagar, a posh Model Town in Ludhiana. Due to intoxication or carelessness, the car lost control and first hit an electric pole and then collided with an expensive Mercedes car parked outside a house, due to which the Mercedes car got badly damaged. After the accident, two girls and a boy managed to escape.
People who witnessed this accident told that the car was moving at a very high speed. The car first hit the electric pole. In an attempt to escape, the driver increased the speed, but after only 100 meters, the car went out of control and collided with two more electric poles. The impact was so strong that the poles fell down and the lights went out in the entire area.
The CCTV video clearly shows that the car directly collided with the pole, followed by a loud explosion and sparks. Immediately after that, three people were seen coming out of the car and running away.
Arshdeep, the owner of the Mercedes car, said, “We were inside the house when suddenly there was a loud explosion outside. When we came out and looked, we were shocked. A car had collided with two poles outside the house. That car also hit our Mercedes hard, causing significant damage. We saw two girls and a Sardar boy in the car. One of the girls was driving. As people started gathering, the three of them took the opportunity and fled.”

As soon as news of the accident was received, electricity department employees and a police team from the Model Town police station arrived at the scene. The electricity department’s JE stated that the collision had caused significant damage to the department and that the power lines were completely damaged. The poles and wires were repaired, and power was restored in the area.
Police said the car involved in the accident has been seized. A search of the car revealed two mobile phones. Based on this evidence, police will identify the car’s owner and passengers. A police investigation is ongoing. They will be apprehended soon.
